Another good mix in this issue.

Something for everyone?

Can't help feeling that the reply to the "star letter" from Mrs. Galloway was completely mistaken. My reading of that letter is that her son or (more likely) husband had passed away - and  that it was a lament not for her formerly tidy home but for someone who had died, and probably recently. I hope I'm wrong!

(I'm assuming that she is not a relative of George Galloway! Well known Westminster idiot.)

Yep, I have a subscription.

They're doing a free set of 11 Draper combination (Metric or Imperial) spanners if you sign up now. Apparently worth £25!

(Even if you're a current subscriber! But you do have to  pay the new rates from this offer onwards. Costing me an extra £5 a year but I get my Imperial spanners. Didn't know you could do that, I will be keeping a careful eye on the offers in future!!!)

UK ring 0845 601 2672 and quote FSAA

£43.20 Credit card subscription for a year

£38.88 by Annual direct Debit

£9.72 per quarterly direct debit.

And you get to se the Classified ads before everyone else, too. :dude:

Father's Day, Birthday and Christmas, at least one of my kids gives me a WH Smith coucher for £25 on each of those days, so I use them to buy bike mags, though I restrict myself to 2 now, CB and Classic Bike Guide, so I get a whole years mag reading for free. Love it

Reports that Iand was recently seen acting in an aggressive and abusive manner towards his famous Bantam have been vehemently denied by his PR agent.  Members of the public had reported Iand threatening to throw the Bantam in the canal and friends have talked of their concerns about the apparent deterioration of their relationship.

Reading from a statement, Iand's PR agent said "Like all Bantams and their owners, there are inevitably times of tension between Iand and his Bantam.  Iand wishes it to be known that he and his Bantam enjoy a strong and loyal relationship and will be able to get through this difficult time together.  Iand requests that fans respect their privacy and promises that, when the time is right, he and Bantam will reveal all on the Classic Bike Forum and Hello magazine"

tee hee!

i didn't want to talk about it but the bantam stayed away overnight, it threw a hissy fit and refused to come home the other night so i left it at the pub and got a lift home.

Things are better now, after a good hard kicking she came home without any tantrums!
