It looks like another Good 'Un !
Can't say I fancy winning that RD though.
And even if I did, it doesn't seem to be on the Great Competitions website yet !

I was very pleased with the link on page 48 to DVLA form V888.  I will download the form and send it off tomorrow, taking the first steps to researching the history of my Tribsa - I'm quite excited :)

Regarding the Guzzi on the cover, the day before I got my copy, I saw one identical to that blasting around the mountains south east of Frankfurt. Sounded bloody marvelous.

I've made it into this issue, for my incompetent meddling with my B40! Cheers Rick! Will imperial spanners fit whitworth fastners?

Paulo;)

Sorry Paulo, been away. Yes imperial spanners fit Whitworth, BSF and Cycle thread. AF spanners fit UNF and UNC.

Cheers R

They're doing a free set of 11 Draper combination (Metric or Imperial) spanners if you sign up now. Apparently worth £25!

(Even if you're a current subscriber! But you do have to  pay the new rates from this offer onwards. Costing me an extra £5 a year but I get my Imperial spanners. Didn't know you could do that, I will be keeping a careful eye on the offers in future!!!)

BORROX!!! My cunning plan failed!

The "helpful lady" who offered to cancel my pre-existing subscription and then re-start me with a new subscription - and therefore spanners - only did the first half of that. Consequently, I had no subscription and no November issue arrived.

I eventually got through to speak to a real person today and had to take out a new subscription but no spanners.

Is this a plan by EMAP to deter greedy customers? :X :X :X
