Yes, but we are becoming more Merkinised these days, so pretty soon it won't matter.

The old Forums / Fora argument crops up from time to time on every Forum I've ever used.
"Forums" sounds less pretentious to me.
Even I don't think it matters much, though.

I vaguely remember a debate about it as well. Yes, forums sounds less pretentious but also sounds wrong.
