my fav show on earth,  i now prefer the october show cos of the later bikes although the april show which i first attended when it started out at manchester's belle vue is great for autojumbles.

i used to have stands at the shows for the dunstall owners club, recently i have not had the cash or time to do so as such i have missed the last two shows.

my question is

do u think the prices are over inflated at the show for parts /bikes etc

A lot are over-priced but there are still bargains to be had if you can be bothered to brave the crowds and hunt for them.

I was able to sell my Harley Sportster at a profit there a few years ago - and I had bought it from a dealer only two months earlier.  I could have sold it ten times over - I just put a For Sale notice on it in the car park - I think the amount of interest in it reflected the high prices in the show.

I will probably try to sell the W650 there too (it's a bargain, buy it now!!)

Coming from the other angle Dunstall :?

Didn't take me long not to realise that a stallholder would look at your jacket for badges to see what bikes you were into when you asked him what the part fitted you were holding in your hand ;)

It's on 18-19 October and you won't be ostracised for turning up on a modern bike!

Yes, allthough I have never seen it as busy as the last one.
It was mad the amount of people there. :X
