my fav show on earth, i now prefer the october show cos of the later bikes although the april show which i first attended when it started out at manchester's belle vue is great for autojumbles.
i used to have stands at the shows for the dunstall owners club, recently i have not had the cash or time to do so as such i have missed the last two shows.
my question is
do u think the prices are over inflated at the show for parts /bikes etc

A lot are over-priced but there are still bargains to be had if you can be bothered to brave the crowds and hunt for them.
I was able to sell my Harley Sportster at a profit there a few years ago - and I had bought it from a dealer only two months earlier. I could have sold it ten times over - I just put a For Sale notice on it in the car park - I think the amount of interest in it reflected the high prices in the show.
I will probably try to sell the W650 there too (it's a bargain, buy it now!!)

Some things are over priced, these are the bikes, the food and the beer (So says dad).

Coming from the other angle Dunstall
Didn't take me long not to realise that a stallholder would look at your jacket for badges to see what bikes you were into when you asked him what the part fitted you were holding in your hand

| It's on 18-19 October and you won't be ostracised for turning up on a modern bike! Last edited on Sat Oct 4th, 2008 07:37 pm by starfirebird

Yes, allthough I have never seen it as busy as the last one.
It was mad the amount of people there.
