Don't diss them. I had one as my first road ped. Far better than walking and more reliable,if not as fast as a Fizzie!

I've been watching them with interest, although not with a view to buying - I already have three of them in various states of repair!  They bring back happy memories :)

My first one took me all over the place on just a whiff of fuel and represented FREEDOM and Getting Away From It All to me - and that's what riding a bike still means to me so I will always have a soft spot for Raleigh Runabouts, sweet little things that they are :)

First powered two wheeler I ever rode, aged about 12. No silencer and about 4 inches of downpipe. Brilliant but monumentally crap at the same time. Cute little things, nice colour too.
