It is indeed very ugly, best option is to chop it up and stuff it in the big yellow wheelie bin.

Ashley, I was wondering what happened to Triumph Marketing recently, the Chief of Triumph Germany is being a total cnut these days. He was always an arsehole, but now he's getting all the dealers backs up. Trying to get rid of dealers he doesn't like because they are too good. It's almost as if he's trying to ruin the company. Last year when the Street Triple was anounced the twat ordered something like 700 bikes for Germany, now experiencing extreme shortages, Italy ordered 2000, France 2000. Italy outsold Germany by over 2000 bikes due mostly to supply problems caused by senior German Management not ordering enough bikes. My Trumpet Dealer has had his Dealership Contract terminated and they've been sking other dealers if they would like to take over the franchise, he is an ex-Triumph Germany employee, they have a new Marketing director here who is also a complete prat and has no idea.

Hi FB, morning:D  Don't know mate is the honest answer-I went up to Ital Moto in Hannover yesterday and they seem to be OK and they've even got a Street Triple unsold on the floor (but not for long I guess).  I can't find the RAT rep either, he's evidentaly been 'let  go'

Isn't  Germany  one of Triumph's  biggest markets after the USA, Italy and  someone told me Greece over on this side of the world.  Seems very odd that your local lad is getting kicked into touch

Are you going to Intermot?  Fancy meeting up?  Let me know:D

Hmm, all this smacks of British crap management to me. Build a good company with good products people want and then screw it all up by total idiocy.

Not entirely, Triumph are doing really well in other countries, but the cnut in charge of Germany seems to actively want to destroy the company. My local dealer has over 11% market share whereas Triumph has a little over 3% nation wide, and still they have terminated his franchise contract and get another dealer to take it over simply because the dealership is too successful. Triumph Retail were due to take over the shop and leave the dealer in charge of the shop, he was happy with that arrangement but they fecked the whole thing up by constantly changing dates and terms. I think Mr Bloor should come over here and have the idiots thumped. They are putting unrealistic pressure on the dealers to sell clothing. Demanding staffing levels with threats of sales commission cuts. The local dealership runs with 1 bloke in the shop and a mechanic, they demand 2 permanent sales staff and two mechanics which is totally rediculous for that shop. Some of us good customers help out if it's really busy and at local shows, but we do it for discount pimpings and t-shirts.

I don't get it. Is the guy in charge of Triumph Germany wanting to get into the clothing business instead of selling motorcycles? I imagine Mr Bloor would be indeed pissed off if he found out a successful dealership was losing its dealership for selling bikes, errr, what the hell else are they supposed to do? The margins on clothing will never match those on bikes over the long term. How much maintenance and how many spare parts do a set of leathers need?

Why,why I never really knew? American refridgerators are different than yours over there?:shock:I know, I get it. Our refridgerators only work on the farenheit scale and internal pressures are in psi not bar. Thats gotta be it. Also out door hinges are driven on the left not right. Man! I swear I learn something new everyday here on this forum. American refridgerators. Who'd a known.:?
