| Can anyone come or is it two smokes only? It's been a while since I've had a bike with expansion pipes.

Anybody can go to the Ace on anything mate! Blue Haze Day is just a name on a calender to get people in
Hmm!!!!!! for the last few years I have been making the 100 mile one way trip on the RD400.
Usually do the Yamaha Day, Kawasaki Day, 70's Day and Blue Haze.
Its nice to see the strokers, mates, etc, but unfortunately the Ace cafe has become somewhere that is all take.
They give absolutely nothing back to the owners who make the effort too go there!
It would be nice if someone made the effort and went around and gave a small trophy for bike of the day with a meal voucher, etc.
70's Day is now called "Classic Bike" 70's Day - which means a couple of banners get hung on the fence and the journalist wanders around and takes photos.
Generally it is virtually over by about 2pm as well - everyone arranges to arrive in the morning and have got bored by midday...
Don't get me wrong - its nice to have a place to visit - but I have heard moaning thru the classic jap clubs that feel we are being taken for granted now.

I know what your saying Del but for us guys (Kawasaki Triples Club) its a central meeting point for an excuse to get together. I usually treat myself to their breakfast.
Its also a comfortable ride out for me about 26 miles.
