Jim Reynold's classic bike show in Cleobury Mortimer. Nice friendly show where you can get tea, coffee and lovely home-made cake in the school dining hall Even the car-park is usually full of interesting bikes. Special guest is Tony Rutter.

We're going tomorrow, I'll be on the Morini hopefully - I haven't had time to fix the Tribsa clutch yet. Might be there Sunday too - well, it's a nice ride

Went to the show today - had a very nice ride there in SUNSHINE!! Struggled a little bit starting the Morini as I pulled the calf muscle in my kick-starting leg when I was at the gym on Thursday Haven't ridden it for a while either because that bloke I live with had made it too high for me - made him drop the forks back through the yokes an inch or so and it is lovely and me-sized again
Nice bikes in the show, several I would like to take home, and I shared a delicious piece of Banana and Cranberry cake with Jon in the school canteen. Bought some bargain bike boots and a 1951 Lightweight Motorcycles book which I gave to Jon as it has lots about Villiers engines in it. There were some very nice "original condition" bikes with a definite Patina of Age in the car park - a couple of BSAs and a Norton. Heard someone comment that one of the BSAs should be restored and was horrified at the idea as it looked just brilliant the way it was and obviously got used. Had a nice ride home in even warmer SUNSHINE, stopped at the bar on Bridgnorth Station for a beverage and sat on the platform watching steam trains. It was pretty busy as there was a BEER festival going on but I was happy with my cold diet coke.
As the Levis Trial that was due to happen tomorrow has been cancelled due to much of the route being waterlogged, a few of us are going to try and ride the route tomorrow anyway (but not on pre-45 bikes - can't do that as Jon broke his ride!!) then finish off back at the Borders Show for more Cake........
