Anyone live round the Cheshire area.?
Andrew Greenwood has one of his classic shows over the bank holiday weekend of August 24th/25th at Capesthorne Hall, Macclefield. Entry is £6 but you can then enter your bike for free in any class... the prizes are good too
Check out his website http://www.classicshows.org/Capesthorne2425Aug.htm It'd be good to meet up with anyone round here into 'true' classics

That's a shame you feel that way Luckydave. Whenever I go to any of his shows, the 'presenter' always interviews the owner instead of just sticking a rosette on and disappearing.! This way, the public get an idea into what you have, how you came by to own it and generally get a good insight into the restoration etc.
As a member of many organisations and clubs, I can honestly say that Andrew Greenwoods classic shows always get the bike owners to parcipitate as much as possible when it come to awards/ceremonies/speaches etc.
I've just got back from the show at Capesthorne Hall in Cheshire, and though not enough bikes turned up, I really could not fault it. Weather was kind too
