Just had an great first visit to the sammy miller motorcycle museum at new milton near bournemouth , loads of interesting and rare bikes ( a triumph 200cc two stroke twin and the villiers 500cc V4 two stroke machine )

 They have a speedway day on sunday 20th ( tomorrow) with demos of the old and new bikes on the alpaca field as well as the  museum being open as normal, nice cakes in the tea room as well.

Think I read something about that Triumph two stroke somewhere. Don't remember too much about it other than it was, I believe, disappointing.

It was a strange looking bike ,about six inches gap between the top of the heads and the tank ,looked like the frame was a standard 500 ,the 200cc engine was about half the height of a four stroke twin.... .In the write up it said that if it was produced then triumph would have been ten years ahead of the japs.....
