If you want to go for a potter on a Sunday afternoon or a blast down the local bypass, organise to meet other like-minded people here.

Also check out our events guide on the CB website: http://www.classicbike.co.uk

If you've got an event you want adding let me know

(This is just an information post, please don't post replies here, start new topics, thanks)

If you're holidaying in the Harz Mountains or Hannover/ Hildesheim area in middle Germany and you're fans of the NSU marque there 's a real treat in store for you at the Gutshof Wickensen Motorrad Museum.

This small but beautifully restored house and museum is on the B64 (great biker road)  between Hameln and  Bad Gandersheim just outside the village of Eschershausen and contains more than 60 restored  examples of the NSU  range including the Famous Quickly and many more road and racing models.

The owner is very friendly and welcomes riders of all nations.  Great little restaurant in the recently restored house and beautiful garden that looks right out on to the biking action on the B64.  Highly recommended.  Unfortunately there's no web site so if you would like further details call the Museum direct on 0049 5534 941481 or mail me sfuller@gmx.de and I'll help.  Open between 1st April & 30th September

Sorry I missed that Deenjay, haven't had a quick one in Burnham for many years!

I trust your moped photos with that pretty girl weren't like some of those others on the other thread!

im lost ??? others on other threads, ive not posted any other pics from  this shoot here.

and all the pictures were tastfull as we were trying to highlight the Bike not the girl. Alex who is the Manager of First Choice Travel in Burnham was actually doing a comic relief car wash, and very happy to pose for us for a donation to the Charity.

so we got a picture or two the charity got a pound or two and Alex had a smile or two, so everyone was a winner.

oddly enough her mum was there and was very happy to tell me that her dad had a fs1e when he was younger. but it was a fun shoot and evey one smiled what more could you want.

I meant the dodgy 1970s photos on the other thread, with young women getting their kit off in an attempt to sell bikes - mainly 2 strokes, it seems.

Was intended as a light-hearted comment only.
