This is my first post so Hi everyone, I am currently in the process of restoring a 1985 RD350f and need some advice on the fairing panels. The previous owner has used the wrong screws for joining the fairing panels together and has cracked the holes:(.

My question is can these be repaired or am I looking at new panels.

      Thanks in advance Mick.

Plastic welding is the best solution, but you can try using Araldite rapid and a piece of coarsely woven cloth.

Use the Araldite and cloth like fibre glass. When you have applied this, heat the Araldite with a hair dryer to make it soak into the cloth, and leave it overnight to set.
