This is my first post so Hi everyone, I am currently in the process of restoring a 1985 RD350f and need some advice on the fairing panels. The previous owner has used the wrong screws for joining the fairing panels together and has cracked the holes.
My question is can these be repaired or am I looking at new panels.
Plastic welding is the best solution, but you can try using Araldite rapid and a piece of coarsely woven cloth.
Use the Araldite and cloth like fibre glass. When you have applied this, heat the Araldite with a hair dryer to make it soak into the cloth, and leave it overnight to set.
