Chaps

I run a pretty good 1959 BSA B31 but it could do with a luggage rack to fit over the rear mudguard.

Any idea where I can get one that will fit without too much bodging.

Regards

Mick

The period made type I had on my A10 was a flat platform with v shape frame on either side, at the bottom of which was a tab that fitted to the rear L bracket bolt. Tabs on the front of the platform had tube brackets going to the other L bracket bolt. Point being, it mounts on the mudguard support L bracket, not the more usual top shock mounting, which may help you find something suitable.

Was that the Gold A10? (with sky blue paint underneath)... the one Robbie Coltraine hauled his carcass round on in Tooty Fruity?

Yes but it wasn;t Tutti Frutti, it was a documentary about Loch Katrine, where most of Glasgow's water comes from. The A10 was still blue in those days. So was I, it was freezing bloody cold riding it up there. Luckily Robbie let me sit in his car to warm up.
