Picked this 1976 GT500 up today to go with my RD400



Looks good in the photo but needs a few minor jobs to improve it.

i can see a hole in the ozone layer appearing above Chippenham Del,nice bike,don,t remember so many in red,i always assosiate blue with this model.

Photos hide things.

Chap had been riding it with a missing chain adjuster bolt (see photo).

Back wheel off line has trashed chain and sprockets:X

Also found left cylinder manifold rubber has split

Nice one Del, that looks a fine bike.  Wiltshire can't get enough of the sound of big 2-stokes IMHO :D.

Went to visit a mate of mine yesterday who is restoring a KH250.....



By pure chance - I now know where my non standard front mudguard came from..:)

The manifold rubber is easy to replace and with the back wheel off-line and a trashed chain/sprocket I bet you got it for a song. I see a lot of bikes with wheels out of line actually.
