Here is a few pictures of the new project:

First job was to make mounting points for the tank and chop the rear mudguard and subframe off:

Seccond was to get rid of these bulky old Honda footrests:

And replace them with these nice folding ones:

Nice. I must resist the temptation to do that to my CG. Unless it gets crashed again...

Wheels are staying, as it the seat.
I'm taking the engine out of the 125 tomorrow and putting it in my Honda TLR200  trials bike, I will then strip the TLR engine and find out whats wrong with it, whelst still being able to use the TLR for trials for the new few weeks as a 125.
I will also strip the 125 down, re paint the frame, wheels ect and the rebuild it to a rolling chassis, and it will then still there all nice and shiny ,ready and waiting for the 125 engine to be put back in it once removed from the TLR.

Thats the plan any way...:?

Here is a picture of what the paint job will look like, I sprayed it quickly with my airbrush, took about 3 mins and was just done as guide only ( I wanted to see if it would look ok),It's not the finished thing, it will be all fully resprayed propely
It will have honda wings on the side of the tank where the yellow sticker ,black side pannels, and black front mudguard
It will also have the switch gear removed and replaced with just the leavers, all ally will be polished ect ect. Gold rims, grey or black spokes, red hubs.

Wouldn't say being worked on , but not put to the side, Just coming along slowly.
Main reason I want to get the cg done is ready for being used, I am allowed up to a 125 in sprints, so will be getting along to some soon hopfully.
Would like to do classic racing, But I think this cg is around a 1990 model.
Z900guy there is a lot of side to side play in the crank, but it's allways been like that, one guy told me it was normal ?
