Yes Velton and also a pic of the mod to the bottom of the frame to accomodate a T150V correctly

Now that's interesting - to me! And a damn quick reply too
Presumably the lowered seat area results in increased ground clearance for the main frame loop? Did you need to alter the front forks?
That's a pretty drastic bit of frame modification - including to the lower rails!
Puts to shame my procrastination about photos of my modified featherbed.
Well done, sir!

Used STD Trident forks (but with twin disc and prog springs), used 1" shorter shocks but angled em more to keep the bottom frame loop parallel to ground (we 'trial and errored' it first in situ)

Lots of work gone into that frame Franky, certainly a radical piece of alteration gone into those bottom rails, was it suck it and see ,or did you know this had to be done from the start ?
I'm really interested in the way you went about, i did a fair bit of radical stuff on a Commando frame once which was very much suck it and see,but i knew the end result i wanted, with a fair bit of sweat and tears i got where i wanted to be,a very satisfying experience,a tad more expensive than i'd originally catered for tho

I had seen a few triple tritons before and I always gave them a good coat of looking at. They always seemed to have the engine too far back in the frame or even tilting slightly backwards (well it looked like it to me) or too high up in the frame. I knew they weren't utilizing the through frame and engine bolt at the bottom of the triple engine and I wanted to do this for more rigidity.
It was a case of - offer up the engine to get the forward/backward alignment and mark up the frame (measured many times), recess the frame where the through bolt was to be positioned and cut a bit out at a time to let the engine fit into the frame, in four places. When the engine would fit after many bicep building ins and outs, we simply had to make the filler pieces and the tube through the frame and brass it all up.
Sounds easy... lots of cussing, bruised fingers, filing and hours later it went into place, we just had to make the engine plates for the engine to be secured all round and Bobs yer uncle.
Frank
