hello, I´m one of the lot of spanish readers of CB, and the question is:

if you put in our hands this veeeery good mag, why is not possible for us to enter in the competition to win one of the jewels that rick fettle??

you´ve got me trying to contact with a friend of mine that lives there to enter anyway in the competition!!!!

this is not ......er....i´ve forgot the word....

ok, i think you know the meaning.

otherwise, thanks for your great mag, the ones here are not so good, but i think its question of 20 or 30 years to reach your level..:):)

I know and sympathise with you CasiCasi on this subject.

Those of us who live outside of the UK, whether in Spain, the US, Germany, Thailand (didn't forget you Lozzy) or where-ever, should be able to enter and qualify to win any of the contests, especially if we hold a subscription. Mine's through the US distributor BTW. C'mon Hugo, see about having the rules changed woncha? You know you want to.;)

I'm with you all on this but you're not going to win it. It'll go to some dork who doesn't want it, like the last two :(. If you really want it, watch ebay, it'll be up in a month or three. :D

No you won't, the winner is, as ff said, lsome cnut who doesn't want or like it, or some git without a licence, who then gets a licence and doesn't want it.

At least let the EU residents enter.

That's the sad part Franky, it probably will go to some butt scratcher who won't appreciate it and flog it off, after getting some piccies of himself on it to "prove" he had a Triton.:(

How about a proxy address of a UK resident forum member, through which all applications could be made for non-residents?

What about a PO box?

Up here for thinking, down there for dancing.

Because anyone off this forum who offered to assist with a proxy address would intercept the winners notification letter and claim the bike for himself :?..............

That's what I'd do anyway!!  {----  Dodgy proxy address man.

Well, having met said winner I am pleased to report he seems a nice fella, seems overjoyed to have won it and used to have one in the eighties, so he has some understanding of old bikes. I think this one may have gone to a good home.

'snot me either:(.

Next year, try to remember, the winner is the bloke who sent in the entry with my name on it, who just happens to live at my mums :).

There that should fix it:dude:
Only problem I see is, next year the grand prize will be a rusty Honda Camino:shock:.
