As in mr A and mr B took their classics all the way to Mongolia/Africa/North America etc, i love reading stories of where people go, the troubles they faced along the way whether its breaking down miles from anywhere or just running out of fuel, getting lost and all that jazz.

Or touring essentials, where to go, what to take, luggage for classic bikes etc

It's getting near that time where i'm starting to think up my holidays for next year and trying to get into and around europe on the bikes would be great!

Anyway thats just what i want to see in the mag!!!

Those kind of touring accounts are quite regular throughout the german bike press, as iand said Mr A & Mr B took their 192x BSA Slopers from lands end to Peking over Mongolia and along the way had to replace a piston, helped along by an ancient Mongolian tribesman who handily carved one out of compressed and dried Yak dung. etc.

Not entirely unlike my old mans war stories, "All the way from Normandy on one engine..."

He was a Spitfire pilot so.....
