Hello Mr. W-W,

When people tell me about a stolen classic bike I try to put the info into the marque news section in Classic World.

Do we really need a specific section?

not here I hope

:shock::D

reason for suggestion, is when a lot of classic are nicked, it is probably to order, so its either going to be broken or its leaving the country, Classic World I assume is a mag but how often does it come out, if like CB its once a month and takes 2 to 3 months to get around the world, the nicked bike can have arrived here before we get chance to read about, at least the internet is instant at notifying people around the world, Just a thought

Sorry, Classic World is what we call the news section at the front of the magazine. But yes, doing it on the website makes perfect sense. I'll get the web bods to make a special section.

you could just put a stolen bikes post at the top of the general section, which everyone seems to go to most, and then make that post a sticky, that is, make it stay at the top, regardless of whether it gets any replies or not.

that's a good quick solution as long as we only post stolen info there or recovery details, so we can all use it as a reference as some parts turn up a long time after being stolen, engine cases on a commando I had stolen took nearly two years to show up, but I got them back, 27 years later the bike is nearly back together
