 Just got back from Tonfanau, great racing...I broke down as usual!!! The paddock area was a total quagmire from the recent downpours with vans getting stuck on the way into the paddock. Tyre-warmers were made redundant to anyone half way up the field as all that happened was that the tyres were instantly cooled as you passed through the mud on the way to the grid!! It took 3 laps before I was confident enough to give her full lean! . A mate of mine on a very trick ZXR400 stalled in the mud and missed his race!!....I've ridden there for a few years now and love it....mud and all! The whole club do their utmost to ensure you have a good days racing, 2 practise sessions and 3 races for £65, the course is deceptively fast and very bumpy set in a stunning location. Anyone who hasn't raced or spectated there get along next year.
(ps z900guy, I've got a horrible feeling that the Laverda, #92, in your earlier post (July meeting) dumped it at Paddock corner, hope I'm wrong )
