What the feck is wrong with publishing the results of the supersports class. Over here at least one can get the results of the IDM (similar to BSB) supersports class, which Triumphs are making a killing in. I'm trying to find results for the British version Silkolene SUpersports, but no one seems to publish anything other than the teams themselves.

IDM: In the last 5 rounds triumphs have won all but one race, and came second in that one. Them little Daytonas go quite well:)

There on here on the British superbike site FB, the PDF's on this page detail all the results for all classes, (Theyre  about 20 pages long, just scroll down to the supersports)

http://www.britishsuperbike.com/results.asp

Oh and Glen Richards has won about half the races this year on the Triumph (and leads the champ. as he's been on the rostrum when not winning :))

edit- he's got 1 first and 3 seconds in four rounds

Thanks Dude,

So, it would seem that Triumph are making a successful return to racing. Huraaah, about time.

The race where Glen Richards went round the outside of the bloke in front on the second last corner or something was ace  He's pretty fit too, which is a bonus :)

I don't see the relevance

Obviously being fit helps when racing a bike for 30+ minutes... Bit of a no-brainer that one :P

Fit as in healthy and sporty, but I recon your comment was related to something else.

Last round of the IDM Supersport Arne Tode extended his lead to 39 points with two rounds to go he seems to be the one to bet on Trumpet Daytona rider naturally.

Looks like a good year for triumph in racing and in publicity.

Triumph Daytona picks up Supersport bike of the year in supertest 3rd year running

Street Triple gets Bike of the year in the US

Over here the Sprint ST was voted Favourite Tourer and Street Triple voted second favourite Naked (beaten by patriotic voting for BMW R1200R)

They have stopped comparing the Street Triple in group tests here as there is nothing in the class which can beat it:D, Except mybe a real classic, 650 BSA Twin maybe.:D
