Hi guys!

My name is Ivan. Two years ago I found under my grandfather's house a motorcycle. My grandfather came on it from The Second World War. I remember that I spent a lot of time sitting near my computer and searching information about it. I recognized that it was old Royal Enfield. But I couldn't determine what model is it.
Photos you can find on this page: http://photofile.ru/users/vankon/95158930/
Now my mother wants to throw it out, so I don't know what to do with it..
May be you know its model and people, who restore this bikes?

P.S. I didn't find the engine, but I have some suppositions about its dislocation.

Hi Ivan, welcome to the Funny Farm.

Is there a number anywhere on the frame of the bike? Probably with one or two letters as a prefix? That would help to identify it.

Don't throw it away! Why not put it on Ebay?

What country are you in - and the bike?

I would guess that this is a Model G; single cylinder, pre-Bullet, easy to find spares, but locate that engine and gearbox!  This is a worthy project, and someone will be happy to take it on.  I've attached the postwar version, the Model J - only difference is the tele forks.
