When things are settled down on the "Lazy-S" ranch, I am toying with the idea of offering limited camping, ample secure parking and workshop facilities, excellent real beer pub within staggering distance. Just an acorn at present, but I shall give it due consideration. Watch this space!

Hi j-p, What part of Lancs are you in?

How small/ large is the camping area? Large enough for a Forum get-together?

What's that quote about mighty oaks growing from acorns?

Hi Velton,

I am East Lancs, North of Rochdale.

Not sure how much camping space we'll have, only been there a few hours before coming away to work. I'm sure there will be room for at least a modest forumrun. As mentioned, watch this space!

Still no facilities, bogs/showers, but plenty of room. Go to http://www.yeti-monster.com and look at the camping page, there is also the Hard-Luck cafe, which, although very sparce, is still pleasant enough. Anyone interested in a stop over whilst touring is most welcome, just drop a line via the feedback page, or pm me. There's also the BIG shed where you can park your bike and do servicing work.

Likewise for those doing an extended tour of south Texass. Plenty of room if you don't mind sharing with sand fleas, ants, squirrels, the occasional horse, three loopy dogs and so far no rattlesnakes.

There's a redneck bar up the road for entertainment I suppose and imported beer at the shops for those not inclined to gants piss Bud (now owned by the Belgiums) or others.

For more info please sned a SASE to:

Camping in the Great Outdoors

Third Treestump Along

Elmendorf,

South Texass suburb of Northern Mexico OU 812

PS: There may be an addition in the way of the "Piston Broke Pub" for those who prefer to do their boozing within falling distance of anything.
