That's the thing with diets, only do it in extreme circumstances.

Difference between men and women:

After Chrimbo, women go on diets, men buy bigger trousers, and wait for nature to remove winter padding by normal daily exhersions:D.

Always wear oversized toos', leave room to expand after a particulary large luncheon. With all the good chinese food on offer everyday, I have to be careful not to become a fat bloater.

The Formula One cafe in Hampton, Middx.

Just opposite the level crossing by Hampton station.

The menu consists of a Damon Hill, Nigel Mansell, Ayrton Senna, word of warning the Nikki Lauda toast can be a bit tough.

Stopped at Jacks Hill caff in the past, and its a decent traditional 'greasy-spoon' - I think theres a bike doo there this year???  went over to the 'Super Sausage' a couple of weeks back.. a few bikes (mostly HDs that have trundled out from the dealers in Towcester).. had the worse cheese on toast I've ever experienced.. i think they'd microwaved it.. tea was average, as apperently was the cooked brekkie.. wont bother travelling 150 miles to it again! :)

for those up my way, can recommend a couple..

Seaways Cafe at Fridaythorpe, right on the A166. decent cuppa tea, and very nice beans on toast and homemade cakes :)  quite a few bikes there even though it was midweek daytime.

Rachels Cafe - Hagworthingham Lincs. beside the A158. excellent food and prices! they even do a nice Veggie fry-up for those of us of that persuasion! (or some would say perversion!)

Any good 'uns, cafe or services, on the way up North from Banbury to Edinburgh? From the looks of it, the A1(M) is the way to go.
