Karma in action? If you are an offensive enough little **** then you will face the consequences eventually. Also known as common sense?

Well done Loz and whoever else was involved. :D :D :D

It's true Detour, you should be fuming about this issue, just as we are fuming over it, just as every working class hero should be fuming over it. You may have stocks and bonds invested, which perhaps makes you feel like one of "them", but some how I don't think you are one of "them". I believe that you are a hard working individual who, like all hard working individuals, rely on the rich bastards to invest our money wisely to maintain our society and our financial institutions in an acceptable manner. Something which they clearly are not doing.

Today, finally, I saw the current "credit crunch" compared to the run up to the great depression. No one wants to see that happen, except maybe the really super-mega-rich, who will only reap more wealth from the forthcoming global misery.

Yes Jess...Bugger indeed!!

Oh the only other group who reaped a rich reward during the depression were the NSDAP who became the Nazi party....they were funded during the early 30s by German industrialists who were worried by socialist unrest....The Jews were a natural target as one could (justifiably point the finger at the Jewish minority in the New York stock market...seen as responsible for the crash and the Jewish majority of revolutionaries in Russia and Germany in the 20s causing civil unrest amongst the workers...in the early 30s the dominant political group in Germany was leftist and social democrat....and the communist uprisings in Hamburg, Berlin and Munich were almost 100% Jewish led. But when ever international capital doesn't get its way it uses the legitimate civil authorities or pays thugs to do its dirty work....Rupert Murdoch and News International anyone...Miners strike...Peterloo massacre

Of course the little man just wanted life to go on and to have a job and feed his family....But the stock markets put paid to that.

Now we've gotten rid of S.S. lets celebrate by throwing a few extra creationists on the fire and another cow on the barbie, while watching some christian fundamentalists trying to beat the lions in a fair fight.

Still get the odd Jehova party turning up on my doorstep, all dressed up in their sunday best. Spouting what they've been taught to spout, without ever really getting to grips with what their, or any other canon is trying to imply. I find it rather sad really :( What's even worse is they're led around by the nose by a bunch of megalomaniacs. On the whole they're decent people, albeit misguided... It's the ones at the top that need burning.

Say FB...Got a match? ;)

I find that if you answer the door to them looking flustered and holding either power tools or sharp kitchen implements, it is easier to persuade them that you don't want to listen.........Angle grinder worked well..."Oh, we can see you're busy, we'll let you get on....." quickly scurrying away down the garden path :)

Nahhhhhh best way to get rid of them permanently is when you see them coming down the path (you can always tell them) strip off and open the door naked then invite them in. Throws them everytime and you'll never see them again.

One word of warning do not use this tactic on plain clothes police officers or carol singers at christmas time. It can be used for Trick or Treaters, they deserve everything they get.......... little sods.

ps. Added thought. This is a perfectly legitimate tactic for use with Avon Ladies

you've not tried saying 'oh your just in time, i need an extra participant in the pentogram' followed up with 'this was alistar crowley's version of the ritual you know'.
oddly they leave by this point, then for added effect follow them at least 500yrds down the road asking if they know where to get nice sharp axes & cheap sacrifical goats.
funny but i've never been visited by them twice in the same place.

my view is they want to spout utter crap at me & waste my time then its only fair to return the favour.

Oh, that wouldn't do - I like goats, I'd like some as pets.  A guard-goat perhaps? :)

And quite agree about the spouting crap..........especially when they have the nerve to suggest I don't care about the world etc if I won't listen to them.

I just say "no sorry" and close the door.

Our neighbours were Jehovas....when we first came here their friends repeatedly  (weekly) came a knocking. I tried not to be rude as we lived next door to them, but when they realised that we didn`t want to join their merry little band they all but ignored us....not exactly neighbourly.
