It's not my first choice, It's all my local sells.
I'd rather have a Hobgoblin, a Spitfire, or a Bishops Finger.
If there are enough REAL BEER drinkers on here I could open a Bar ?

hobgoblin etc all good ales that is why I don't have any firm favourites, each one has it's own merits and ocassions when it will be significantly better than any other. Shepherds neame s**t and scream as someone once said to me. Well I never did and the Bishop is good on a bloody hot day, spitfire too, but all to be drunk at room temperature, please never ever put my Ales in the fridge Last edited on Wed May 28th, 2008 07:32 pm by Aelfgwyn

When I'm down in Yorkshire, Theakstons Balck Sheep. Up here, Orkney Breweries real ale. It's fantastic.

| Like them both also Arran dark and Wildcat when in Scotland, down in Cornwall it has to be Spingo and in Devon it is usually Tawny hmmmm I always seem to find some damn good ales when on my wanderings. Last edited on Wed May 28th, 2008 07:34 pm by Aelfgwyn

I used to drink GK IPA, my parents had a GK pub for seven years, I preferred Abbot Ale. Luckily Extra Cold was not an option back then so they never committed any sacrilege .

This was in the Brewery !!!!!!
And the Greene King pub across the road !
I shunned it and drank the proper warm stuff.

While I do like a nice drop of Tanglefoot or Fursty Ferret I'm not too keen on some of their more 'Flowery' beers.
Golden Champion and England's Gold spring to mind - they taste of perfume !
