Jess, I don't know what the Chinese authorities would make of a black American hippy mangling his national song but here is The Man playing like a God, absolute classic!

Hendrix Star Spangled Banner at Woodstock  (again)

Paul Jones and the Blues Band - still alive and touring occasionally, highly recommended if you get the chance to see them!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOLXDTmVe4w

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKRtHzaCqsI

B.B. King,, "The Thrill is gone." No video but Pukka Blues!

both I hope.  We had a number of these in Australia and now the price is lunatic stuff I paid $2000 for this and have had offers for 3 times that.  The worst point is that it drives really bad and smells inside.  I will ride my bikes to events rather than in the camper.  A issue for us id the distance we travell for some rides, the national VJMC meeting in march is 1500 k's away for me about 4000k over 7 days and all that food, beer and shed stuf to keep you up late.

You could open a box of thoem pine air fresheners that dangle from the rearview mirror, might obscure all those 'roos that hop in front of you trying to distract you from driving!

Rubbish, Children of the damned is about 1983, older than any Fireblade :P.

FB, that Frijid Pink version of House of the Rising Sun is great.

Here are The Animals (c 1964?) with the first version I knew - although it's an old song

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRV9QCXLtHQ

Vanilla Fudge - You Keep Me Hanging On - not at all like The Supremes' version

Vanilla Fudge version of She's not there

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VExwJiZ8mJk

The Zombies original (c1965?)

Children of the Damned was 1982, off Number of the Beast

Phantom of the Opera is earlier still: 1980, off Maiden's debut album

You are of course right, I should have known as I first saw Iron Maiden at the Theatre Royal Ipswich in 1982 :D.
