Hi
I get Classic Bike every month and have joined the forum. Am I allowed to post for a 'bike wanted' here or do you prohibit such stuff?
Regards
Richard

I don't know of any reason why you should not. Anyone?
Welcome to the Funny Farm, Richard.
What are you looking for? Where are you based?
(EDIT. Just noticed that I virtually duplicated what iand said. Great minds think alike etc.)

I was pulling Gussets leg, Ian.
I'm actually looking for a Honda 650 Bros for restoration. Hope that the Bros is not too recent!

I think nobody has a problem with members looking for new(ish) bikes, there is actually no specific minimum age in here.
The question that begs to be answered is, why?

Why a Bros? They are very highly regarded by people who own them/have owned them. Jon had one and says it was a brilliant bike - another he had to sell because he needed the cash
Hope you find one Richard.

| I had a 400 Bros as a do up and sell on jobby last year and a cracking little bike it was. A little slow but handled like a cruise missile! Good luck finding a 650!

Psssstt.. don't tell everybody, they'll all want one.
I rode one for about an hour back in 1998 or thereabouts around Battersea. One of the guys I worked with had quite a collection of bikes including a Tricolore 888 and the aforementioned Bros.
It was a great bike to ride and I've always admired the lines. The engine was a peach with a lot of torque and very durable by all accounts. The single sided swinger is a nice touch and the chain drive gives them a lot more ooomph than the Revere. They handle well and would make a great roadster with decent suspension and brakes. A good project I think.
Thats why I would like to find one...
Thanks for the feedback gents.

yup, no problems posting a wanted add. I would stick it in the going spare section, though...
Good luck.
I've ridden the 400 version out here and was a darn sight sweeter handling that I thought it would be...
