Finally we have created the perfect haven for all you classic bike nuts out there. Whether your fancy is a BSA Bantam, Manx Norton or a Yamaha RD350LC, the Classic Bike forum is the place to chat about all things classic.
Although you'll no doubt see us lot on here quite a bit, we'll be taking a back seat - this is your forum.
Whether you want to find out about classic events, get technical advice from your fellow bikers, post pics of your beloved bike or buy that missing bolt for your bike in our autojumble section, it's all here.
We've made it very easy for you to get in touch with us so if there's a feature idea you want to see in the mag, want to let us know what you like and what you don't, post a message.
And if you have ideas of what you want to see on the forum, then let us know. (You can even choose funky pictures to go with your name)
We just ask you to please read the rules and guidelines before you start posting.

Hi there all names charlie been on the auto jumble seen a good many years now I am the side kick helper of the well known chronometric speedo repairer Dave Booth so many of you will be able to put a face to the name
on a sad note however I have to say that Dave has suffered a stroke and is at present in hospital he has lost the use of one arm cannot walk and finds it very difficult to string a sentence together ,so lets all hope that he does make a recovery

Hi all!
My names Rich, from North Wales (gods country),
Really happy that this forums started, coudn't wait!
Got my first classic this year, a 1981 250 superdream (i know, but i love it). and know squat, next to my knowledge Miss Pepper's is like a seasoned moto gp crew chief! but I'll get there. So expect lots of (to you) dumb questions, for example whats a woodruff key? and what does it open???

Ah, I know that one Rich. The engine note of the 1903 Hulbert Bramley is surely in woodruff key. Whereas the Norton Commando is obviously in Alan key.

I was wondering, why isn't it possible to read the threats in the correct form?
With the first post at the top, and then down, it's the proper way

I have a 1968 Yamaha YCS1/C 180 street scrambler and a 1976 Z900 A4.
Rich - don't be ashamed of your Superdream.....nice ones are pretty rare, as most of them were commuted to death in the late 70's and early 80's and as the years go on these "boring" bikes get more interesting.

Welcome in, Henry. Nice looking bike - can't quite see what it is.
I only have one Japanese bike, which is a lovely little thing, but I hope to experience riding a British single early this year - I'm trying to set something up and I can't wait.

 I second that all other forums are done that way otherwise you have to go to the bottom of the post to see what it was all about ,

Yes: please could the posts read top to bottom, or at least enable forum members to have the option to change it?

Well I got here at last, although I couldn't register with my normal e-mail address, and when I went to hotmail I'd used up my normal usernames on bike fora. It wouldn't let me use them, saying they were taken, but I didn't get the activation e-mails either. I hope I can remember this one.
Now I'm here I have nothing useful to say. I don't ride classic bikes, only scrappy old ones, but at least they're cheap.

Hi all, this will be good for all.If like me and ride alone you can feel a bit left out when arriving at meets and shows it would be nice to meet people through this forum who feel the same. Feel free to contact me if you are a solo rider (fair weather only sorry!)
