This is my 1977 R100/7 Bee Em, not british, but still a classic.

I've owned it for four weeks now and can't fault it.

Does anyone know if these bikes will run on unleaded without mods to the cyl heads, I have been using a lead substitute, but some people say I shouldn't, and some say I should:X

Nice Beemer...Yeah I love em to!  Probably the most reliable classic you can buy.  As for lead free....You can get away with it...I did....for years just by checking the valve clearences  when they start to close up regularly you have a problem on the way!

The new valve inserts for unleaded are not that expensive...speak to Motorworks or motor bins or buy a 83> head.

I think the fuel additive is a pain, costs a fortune and dosn't work...apart from that its quite good:)

IF you need advise just ask or PM me

Noticed some Harley Flat trackers in this thread, though you guys might be interested in a road racer!
