Hi Everone and thanks for quickly checking my post.

I have been tasked a short query with regards to the below bike:

Please excuse my naivety but all I know is it's a Norton.

My question is very simple, I'm wanting to purchase the perfect helmet for this bike and seeing as I have absolutely no idea (really non!) I was hoping a few of you lovely people could suggest a few names.

I was also hoping something a little more classy than them full face helmets as I think the bike deserves that, so please any ideas?

Thanks for your help.

PS sorry if I've pinched this photo from your flickr, it's the only pic I could find of the type of bike.

thats a nice looking norton, whoevers it is!!

this opens up the old how much do you value your head debate, for proper helmet 'ratings' look here:

http://sharp.direct.gov.uk/search/results/?sort=manufacturer&dir=asc&manufacturer=0&model=0&type=0&rating=0&size=0&price=0&x=27&y=3

it doesnt list the scores for open helmets yet but it looks like they are coming soon.

I have an open face helmet I sometimes where on my bantam but most of the time I wear my Shoei XR1000, very comfortable but its a race rep so probably look a bit daft on my 40 odd year old bike!!!
